Technical Con Rod substitution.

TBH I don't even know if building this engine - & putting it in a T is even a good idea, It's a nice engine compared to the Fords, has everything we want except the CI's anyway will keep pondering & thinking about boxing some rods!

It's obvious! It makes the engine a variable compression engine. By putting more air pressure into the rid, it moves the piston higher up into the bore, and increases compression, making MORE power! Genius idea!

 

You fill them with helium to make them lighter

 

But if the rods became lighter, there goes the balance on the ***embly!
