Hi, I'm new to the forum having just purchased a 1953 F100 from Texas. It's original right down to 6 vdc electrical system. I look forward to rebuilding the 8RT engine and replacing safety-related parts: focusing on the steering, brakes and some suspension bits and pieces. Thanks in advance for the excellent forum.

Right now I'm curious about model numbers and hope someone will explain them. From the green book I see descriptions like Models C, D, Y, T, TH and so on. With my limited searching skills I can't find any explanations. Thanks!

My copy of the Ford Green Book says it's for 1928-1948. Do you have a later edition ?

Thanks, Charlie. Ford Barn does lookto be more appropriate. Curt
