Congrats Dave, you have talent and humility, a rare combination. Thanks to TLC for the show. And really, a big hand to Jimmy, for having the intelligence and guts to pick someone as talented as himself to work with him. Doing this is extremely wise and unfortunately rare.
Congrats man! I really was hoping that they'd pick you. Richie seemed cool and all, but I just thought you were born with the Hot Rod DNA more so than the other folks. Seeing the peoples rides pretty much sealed the deal for me. I don't like the next generation of hot rods if that's what they are!

Dave was the only reason we watched the show every week. That guy is really someone to look up to. Oops.. I hope that didn't come out like a short joke....lol Totally grounded, super talented, family guy, easy going, no ego, apparent great sense of humor. However, I cant imagine moving from a beautiful home and garage in Ohio to So -Cal being a dream come true. No offense to you west coast guys, but from what we saw of Dave's place on the show, it would cost 5 times as much in California. Even if he doesn't make the move, he is still the winner. Congrats.
yea i dont kno dave very well ive talked to him a few times but he is more than the guy for the job he is one of the best rodders and guy ive seen so they made a great choice
Truely the man for the job. Finally, someone that is decent on TV for a change...it's good to see a man without tatoos all over them, a decent haircut and someone I would consider "normal" get promoted. Dave, don't let Cali ruin you and your family. Great job!
