I appreciate john adding context to his photo posts. Make viewing them that much more enjoyable. I hope others will follow his example.

 

Half the pix I post I find looking thru FB friends photos, the One's I add the place and year are my photo's I took. before 2015 I had camera's that were pretty good, then I bought a Nikon 5300 and now all of them are excellent, It gets heavy by the end of the day. Last 2 years I was using my Cell but its an Android and unless your right in front of the car the pix get grainy. In 2026 its back to my Nikon

finally I found the photo album from 1993, next week I'm going to buy a scanner to transfer all my albums to digital I have approx. 35 albums. Today I took a few out and took pix with my cell of the 1993 gas stop on our way to Springfield Oh. hopefully they turn out.

Somewhere I have pics of your El Camino too, from an earlier BTT50s. Thinking I took a closeup of bongo drums displayed on the package tray behind the seat? Might have been in primer then with a painted roof? I'll do some digging to see if I can find those pics. Loved it then, still do.
BTW, I have an old personalized MN license plate I ran years ago that "almost" matches the one on your Elky. Maybe a kool wall hanger, if you want it send me a conversation and I'll figure out a way to get it to you.
