Saturday we went to the party at Austin Speed Shop. It was packed w/ old cars & plenty of people. Beat the Hell outta Congress, in my opinion. Congress is what it is, but for me, driving an old car w/ drum brakes in a traffic jam w/ every Tom, Dick, & Harry in Austin loses it's luster pretty quick.
I hear you, 46stude. I wish there was some way that the Ferrarri, late Mustang, late Challenger, and Porsche crowd could be turned away and not allowed to cruise Congress. Maybe the law could ask to see your wristband before letting you continue down the strip. Also, those $75,000 4X4 things that you can walk under don't belong there either. Rant over.
