Doing pretty good. Thanks for asking. Yes, 800 cars on a Monday night with rain in the forecast.

Great pics Mark from what was a great event. With 800 cars you must have covered a lot of ground to get all those pics.

people ask if we race it. yup, 9.0@147. not bad for a 350 buick. but we take it shows and cruises and have put about 700 ****s in it. most guys are afraid to get in it because the rear is close. best ones is watching the little kids, especially when its running.

Good stuff. Just figured out it was 58 years ago when I went with my pops on my birthday to watch my first REAL drag race at Connecticut Dragway. Thanks for the memories. :)

    Thanks for posting.

Great memories revived - no I-91 back in '61.....first trip to CT Dragway not far out of town we started to hear clunks from the right front when hitting bumps in the road......no time to dink around, can't miss seeing a real California car run and make noise live and in person......buddy hanging 1/2 way out the window trying and failing to make an underway diagnosis.....take it easy rest of the way down to watch Jack Chrisman run the Howard Cams Twin Bear.....3rd run he was headed into approaching storm clouds.....rain started just moments after he completed the run....eased on back home, jacked up the DD and found a broken RF coil spring..... Older we get the more fun we had!

Ever find some of my Brownie box camera pictures from that day along with some later ones from the match race between the Large Father and Sneaky Pete at another meet I'll try to get down to one of these reunions.

WOW! Great shots! Wondered what that primer gray car with the sidepipes was. So an MG with a Porsche roof? Looked pretty cool.

Nick, did not know you moved. Now that you mention it, I have not seen you around. What brought you to PA.

Anyone know the owner of this Black and White 56 Chevy? It was at the reunion and left before I got back to it for more photos and hopes of talking with owner.
