hey man,

i think you could get some pretty cool mid 50's iron for cheep. dodge was going for 4k on Oz ebay not too long ago. Problem is that body work costs the same whether its a morris or a merc so if you're going to spend to greens may as well spend it on something you can get your money back on.

That's it. Not that you're necessarily contemplating doing this to make money, but there ain't much of a market for custom Morrissesss. And they're tiny. But each to their own.

 

the main reason that i was looking at the morris. was size. parking is crazy at the best of times without having to back to something the size of the val.

 

hey man,

yeah after buying my rod, and to be honest i prob paid too much for the condition it was in, ive realised its alot better to buy the best you can afford. compromises with the initial car choice only turn into bigger compromises later on and every dollar spent on something that isnt your dream is a dollar further away from acheiving it.

id only go a morris/VW/off brand car if i could do 100% of the work myself. if thats the case i say go for it becuase your only paying for the cost of the car, not other peoples time to do the work.
