if you had a dead cylinder in a v8, how many cylinders would be firing when you drive to the burger joint to hang out with your buddies?

    ok a serious one!
Why would a 1950 ford flathead 8 run with the plug wires pulled from either bank but NOT with all 8 connected?it would start and run on either side all ignition parts new and 3 different mechanics checked it out found it would start bumping the thing over on one of those checks

If it takes a chicken and a half a day and a half to lay an egg and a half; how long would it take a monkey with a wooden leg to kick all of the teeth out of a dill pickle??
