Well this thing is just about ready to go, it'll be back in a couple days, get torn back down, and off to paint, but before that....wiring!!fun But for now, DAMN! isn't she pretty!!hahaha Sometimes work can make you feel real happy.
What do you think about the copper?? the shifter and and spreader bars are copper at this point too..... Should we chrome them??
I really dig the copper Matt very different with some more accents inside it'll be very trick and I just have to say, that thing is ****ing awesome! Will it be at Autorama this year or what??
Go with the copper! Very effective if used in moderation plus everthing you mentioned is easily changed if you don't like it later. Can't wait to see it in person on down the road.
Great job! I don't know exactly how to describe it but, copper adds a special look to it...it grabs your eye and won't let go. Have you thought about throwing in some br***? What is going to be the final color? Thanks.
I don't know about the br***, that may give it a gawdy flavor if the copper is left copper, ya know what I mean, too much of anything generally isn't good. The final color is the green on the grill shell, the rails will end up painted, but the inside may end up just getting cleared. The over all shot didn't turn out real good so I s****ed it.
I think that chrome would look better. Copper and Br*** just seems a little too 70's T for me. Nickel might look good to like what Troy used on the green 32 roadster. It is a little less flashy and would go with the ch***is better.
now THAT is true beauty. i'm diggin the br*** but nickel might work too. hard to picture it i guess. maybe paint it and then decide.
