Can anyone tell me what the rear-seat hip room is on a ‘52-‘54 convertible? I know they lose quite a bit of space versus a closed car due to the top mechanism.

I'm wondering if I can put three car seats in one.

Tomorrow I will measure it for you but it is at least 1foot narrower than the front seat. I would say two adults will occupy the back seat fully.

Hip room in the rear is 46 inches. In the front it is 57 inches or58 door to door.

Thanks again. Seems I ought to be looking at Lincolns.
