Working on a carson top and need to figure out where I'm going to get the convertible top material that will be covering the carson top. Is there a website that sells this material by the yard? Is there a website makes built to order tops?

Wanted to find a website to check out colors and material. If I can't find one then I'll just find a local shop to see what they have laying around. Thanks! :D

Yea I figured that is what I would have to do. Kind of wanted to check out what is available before I head down there.

Look under Social Groups (Upholstery). Number of places to order
    material direct.

Look, and ask for early Corvette material. It's readily available, so it's relatively inexpensive, and looks (and is) correct for the era...

you dont need convertible topping materials for a carson top. there are cheaper priced materials such as Cambria or auto vinyl top material and wil be a little easyer to work with. the places that i purchase from are wholesale only.

Thanks guys, just called a local shop and they have a sample book I can take a look at. Said they would not have a problem getting what I needed.

  9. I can walk you through making a pattern for it using 6mil plastic, double sided tape and a sharpie marker... Jim
