Looking for shop to buy and install Convertible Top on my 1932 ford roadster in nyc conn nj long island if anybody has place to do it please let me know Thank You Gene
A number of years back,I made a fold down top* for my 28A Roadster,a good buddy, who owns a red 32,lay out a bit like your black one,ask about helping him. Turned out he had way to many things,he did not want! That needed to be done, too hold a top to windsheild an body= Nope,no locks or snaps drilled in to windsheild frame?,no snaps on body around ****pit edage!< He did not think those looked good, but still thought it could be done with out anything showing!! ,,,This was p***ed foolish, ideas of what can an can't be done. Sure,if $ time is unlimited,"Were there a well, theres a way!" I did not try p*** our talk. For those that are "Do it your self" types,I did a "How Too at Home" for HAMB; It may help,if your handy,an OK adding snaps ect.; https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum...top-a-how-too-do-it-tech.857951/#post-9479688 The "V" of windsheild upper edge is tricky, and will need at least 3 clips/each end an center,vs a stock type windsheild only one at each side.
Contact Wayne Carini of ( Chasing Cl***ic Cars ) He’ll know. F40 Motor Sports Portland, Connecticut. https://www.f40.com/
See who F40 Motor Sports recommends. But I have a few links I found. I don’t have any connection to any of these shops nor any recommendations. It was just information I found on Google of shops in that area that do convertible tops on cl***ic cars. https://www.mpauinc.com/convertible-tops https://jslegacyautointeriors.com/custom-convertible-top-upholstery/ https://supremeseamsautomotive.com/convertible-top-replacement/ https://vintagemotorcarsllc.com/
