more work on the other window to get it flush and ready for a window if I ever decide to put windows in it. I’d love to just do a light weighy carrerra style leather window pull straps. 4456C8BD-61FB-48DB-ABAE-08FF2D9866EC.jpeg

Picked up a 34 grille over the weekend. Also picked up five 1932 18 inch spoked rims and a 33 axle. I’ll run the spokes rims until I find some 18 inch wide fives to put on. With some open drums. That’s if the parts heavens open up and decide to lead me to them.

here is a photo of the car so far. The only thing that’s hard about the new spot I’m in is it is hard to see the car from a distance to get a real good look at it. Thanks for reading! I appreciate all the positive feed back! Definitely gives me motivation!

I grind the welds inside too. My bro has a body built by Bobby Walden and you can’t see the welds inside or out. It’s amazing, and I try for that quality with my work.

Let's see. At $10/hr that's about $200K in labor so far.

Was nice to get it outside. I don’t think I have a picture with the car so I thought I would snatch one of my dad and I. Thanks for looking!

Great work, thanks for posting it all up along the way. The weeks you took fitting up the coupe roof before you did one tack weld, those kinks you took out of the roof insert hole, the re re reworking of the chop, the dreading for years and then finally tackling the deck lid fitup - all of that kind of stuff is top shelf. Please be aware that your buying a Fordor instead of a cherry 5w coupe body, your transmogrifying it into a lakes coupe, your bouncing from one space to another are all highly relatable "hard way" steps to your far off goal. Doing difficult things because they are hard is called character. Mad props to you and your heaven sent Pops. Can't express how awesome this is.

picked up a cool original paint/patina dash. And gauge cluster. IMG_8825.jpeg
Going around the whole car and patching up all the unnecessary holes. IMG_8976.jpeg IMG_8978.jpeg IMG_8979.jpeg IMG_8983.jpeg IMG_9199.jpeg IMG_9202.jpeg IMG_9206.jpeg
finished the drivers side garnish molding. Kinda tricky to get fitted just right. Not sure if they are going to even be necessary but I figured I might as well do them if I want to use them.
