Hey folks I am restoring a 1941 dodge pickup and I would like convert the old dash over to electric. I putting a slightly modified 5.2 l magnum into the old beast. The tricks is that I want to keep it looking original, so using the original gauges would be awesome. Anybody no of somewhere that is experienced in this. I am in Canada

I've been thinking about the same thing on a tow rig idea I have. I've been wanting to put an old cab on a new truck but keep it looking totally stock on the dash. I wonder if you can hook all the stuff up behind the gauge and just use the needles if you see what I mean?

why not just use the the mech gauges?
the gauge dosent care what engine its in, just swap out the electric senders and screw in the mech.

Really depends on how expensive of gages you want installed. I have done several conversions, can you post a pic of your dash gages?

I have already done this in my car. I carefully cut the old gauges apart. Then picked new auto meter gauges and cut them open. I used the black background orange needled gauges and in the original bezels and with the original fronts it worked pretty well. Hopefully I've attached the pictures. Good luck MIKE
