I tried to find my original thread but gave up.... we ARE a talkative group.:) So OK... Original 29 A roadster... mechanical brakes, 4 banger, 21 in wheels....however I have a T5 stuck behind that 4 lunger.. I am slowly converting it to a full fendered Rod (still thinking of FH but may go with yet another SBC,,, This is the question... I have '39 Ford brakes with a spacer kit for the spindles. I am in the midst of rebuilding the wheel cylinders and shoes, springs, et al........ I can NOT figure out how to mount the MC and pedal with the T5 installed while keeping the clutch pedal.... I will provide pic on the morrow... Any suggestions appreciated...

Where exactly is the interference? Hard to tell from the pictures. Is it with the clutch fork to pedal?

It took some fiddle farting and bending....welding a tab or two on the frame...but it is boxed so there was a flat surface to go to. I guess you could box that portion rather put a piece between the two flanges. I don't know what you have for a bell housing and there are adapter plates for the BB housing to T-5 that have the shaft....also there are bell housings for the A to T-5 that have a shaft for the stock pedals
I just located where the stock shaft placement would be....
Took a shaft out of a old housing.....started drilling, bending and welding. I wanted the shaft to be removeable do it is bolted thru the bracket on one end and fits and bolted in a saddle on the frame end. A shaft collar to hold it snug.
Just look and stare at what you need for all the components.
I believe I had to cut the bell crank arm off the pedal, and re-clock it to get it to align with the master cylinder rod.
I'm a fruit jar master cylinder kind of guy and I've had this together for years with no brake loss
I have a working E brake and that is a challenge but it is just looking at mounting points, cardboard templates and fabbing and welding it out of metal

Dang....I forgot the photos and I had to resize them first....twice...thrice 29 roadster bracket resizedrevb.jpg 29 roadster MC bracket resizedrevb.jpg 29 roadster brake and pedal installation completedrevb.jpg
Also it looks like I just cut a piece out of a square tube for the shaft saddle to the frame....I don't know, it's what I dig out of the scrap and this was to get the MC off the firewall and do away with the swing pedals

If I'm seeing this coreectly, it looks like you have the master cylinder mount welded to the frame and bolted to the engine. That's not a good setup if the engine has rubber mounts. It would be okay if the engine was solidly mounted to the chassis (no rubber mounts).
