Hey B-bop, Thinking pretty seriously on driving the Tourliner to the "big one" , Goodguys PPG Nationals in Columbus Ohio. It is July7-9. Would leave around beginning of July and head back the week of the 10th to be within my 2 weeks of holidays. Departure date could be modified to take in the Goodguys cruise from Des Moines IA. to Columbus. Interested? Anyone else want to get a convoy of COE's and head east? I'm on Vancouver island on the west coast and we can have COE's (or other hot rods) join along the way.
Boy I'd love to meet up somewhere in Illinois and run with you, but I don't think I'll be able to keep up. I'd be on foot, because the Autocar won't be anywhere near done. LOL Seriously that would be a fun time if I was ready to go!
I wish mine was waterproof, I'd cruise along. Too much bare metal and a bad shoulder that is preventing me from doing much work on it.
Hey Russ, does not look good for making it for me. I am hoping to run for political office and will be on the campaign trail June July and August. Makes a mess of my cruising time.
I thought you were retired? Run for political office or cruise in your Hot Rod..... that is a tough one. Sorry to hear Barry. I might vote for ya.
