I know, its too new with non 14 inch wide whites. Seems to be quite popular locally though. IMO, cadillacs are ALWAYS cool, 2 doors, 4 doors, 5 doors, still cool. mine doin what she does best... sucking down the gas.
Oh, absolutely...That Olds is just totally TITS!!! Love the way he just gave the handsome, but high-crowning sedan that sleek, new profile, yet left it completely alone otherwise, incl the original patina.
A Regent, Eh...? Never heard of that, however they did sell a handful of these "export" Mopars in Finland back in the day, basically Plymouth Savoy sedan bodies w/ either Dodge- or Desoto- front clips. The Dodges were dubbed Kingsway´s and Desotos Diplomat´s. And yes, the flat 6 was there, except that with the way gasoline always was and "had to be" scarce around these parts, there was also the dealer-installed option of a "Perkins"-brand (British made) 2-l 4-cyl DIESEL, LOL.
I am totally blown away with all these cars posted. My friend calls them "no Waiting" instead of four doors, I love that. The number of chops in the thread is also amazing. I had a 48 black mint Dodge four door that I loved, and have never dissed any other more door rides. My Dad drag raced his four door 55 Olds with a constant trophy winning sucess, tu-tone blue with skirts, www, dual exhaust, and always polished to the hilt. Thanx for showing these cool builds and hats off to all for understanding cool is what you make it. Rock on troops!! ~Sololobo~
Here's my 53 Buick First shot is photo shopped 2nd one is as it sits now... I got the rear down 4 inches...front still needs to come down
Falls into the "Kissing your sister" category for me. But what do I know? I like Pickup trucks and station wagons (2 door only). Only way I know to make a 4-door cool is to turn it into a 2 door.
did you bother to look at some of the rides on this thread? these guys managed to make them pretty f-n cool in my book.
