I admire the craftsmanship and enthusiasm but someone please step in and unfuck the poor fellas decision making paradigm.

I like it, imagine it rolling on chrome reverse with thin whitewalls.

  8. I think that the Riv lights make it unlikable to most of us. Maybe if not for the lights it would have been more well received.

  9. I'd be willing to bet this car doesn't last. Trying to bond together steel and fiberglass is tough to begin with..Usually cracks and separates

And here I thought the idea of customizing a car was to improve it's lines and style, not just start adding shit to make a statement.

I can lay out exactly what it is I don't like about this car: It's a gold-chainer's version of a Rat Rod.

  14. Actually by the later '50s it had become adding things for the sake of gaining points at a show. Sometimes the cars that won were real abortions but they had all the points that they needed.

In the case of this corvette someone probably saw a Riv and thought I really like those lights and wouldn't they look good on my car. Remember no photoshop means you must see it in your head and hope it comes out alright. :D

Flashback to the ugly canted quad headlites of the 60s. Deduct 60% of car value, go directly to jail, do not pass go or collect $200

Wow, there is a hell of a lot of arm chair quarter backs here!I saw the car at the same show ( I think it was any way ) I hated it at first, but after looking at it a couple times more, I really liked it! The guy that chopped up this plastic penis extension had a bigger set of balls than most of the guys throwing rocks from their mom and dads basement after their pizza delivery shift got over! It defiantly needs to loose the third brake light, steering wheel, and a wheel and tire mod to get it where I would think it needs to be for my taste, but I guess that's why the ice cream isle is so long at my grocery store. I guess what really blows my mind is this post has around 20 posts more than the bad ass Tom Beatty blown early cad powered 49 ford 4 door thread this guy started. WTF???

This is what happens when you don't get slapped hard enough as a kid for doing something wrong. The same breed that would paint a DeLorean. Duh.....

  20. hey guys my brothers father in law told me that he had a 57' vette he couldn't give away so they cut it up with a skill saw and hauled it to the dump! This car could have some changes made but ....

Who ever owns this vet I can get you in touch with the original builders son the was built in the late 60s - no one would buy it as a stock corvette so his dad customized it to sell it- more of the story to be told to the owner
