Nads My mate Swerve, found Shotgun last year, been sat in a garage 20 years, I dragged it home for him, hes at the momment rebuilding it back to 70s spec. I remeber all of these, lead foot was the ********, iv often wanders where it went. Gary Belcher, and Belcher engineering are not the same.Gary has dissapeard and the car is in the museum, they wont say who owns it and they are not allowed to move or fire it up. Strange, but at least its still arround. Cheers Pete Pete
Pete, thanks for the info....... I remember seeing the T many years ago at Ally Pally as well as at the Haynes Museum... Remember Speed Freak? Mr Torquer? Discotrucker? Ahhhhh..those were the days!! Dave (STILL...not as old as Kev)
PFF, no ****ing way????? That car was hand beaten out of steel. I'm making a serious offer here, I'll trade my Packford straight up for Shotgun, each party pays shipping across the pond.
nads Re: Shotgun. My mate PFF tells me you wanna swap! Its been a while since the original message but I have only just got online. Shotgun is not yet ready to roll again but it won't be long. I would like to enjoy it for a while when its done. So what have you got?Post a picture? The T still looks the same, save for a couple of details such as the grill moved forward to fit a fan & the exhausts have been painted black.(everything as far as possible will be restored back to its early seventies glory ) The paintwork as far as I can tell from the magazines is the same, just a bit of crazing, its pretty good considering its been around a bit in this cold wet and miserable place. Anyway nice to know its not been forgotten. Who WAS your neighbour? Swerve.
Hey oldchevyseller, I'd like to see it too but its at the moment covered up in the garage waiting for me to kick myself up the ar*e to go and do it!
garry belcher is my step dad and i yoused to cruize around in it with him from the age of 5 ,one time we pulled up at selsdon park hotel to go for a swim as i jumped out my little legs couldnt make it p***ed the 6 exhaust's and i burnt the biggest hole in my shin right down to the bone ! he still made me go swiming
garry belcher is a cl***ic car restorer specializing in jags and farrari's and currently owns and runs a vintage petrol station in four elms, kent ,near edenbridge where he supplies special fule for cl***ic cars and sells his amazing chaisaw carvings
oh yes garry belcher was and still is the owner even though its in the haynes car museam next to the most exspensive farrari in the world, nick butler was a wicked builder though.
has any one got any pictures off garry belchers candy apple red V12 T bucket that they could send me please ? he will be amazed that theres a network of enthusiasts talking about his car on the web, hes never bin neer a computer in his life .

I remember SHOTGUN very well! I used to organise the Blackpool Show late 70's early 80's and I used Shotgun for publicity shots a number of times ! I remember taking the car onto Blackpool Promenade right infront of Blackpool Tower and d****** a semi-**** Tracy Anne Murtagh across it (YUM YUM!!) . The car was'breathing' rather heavily and was kicking fuel back out the carb, it was still a handful though ! (So was Tracy!) Those were the days I also remember Keith McCormick, My dad and I used to run a trim shop and do work for him on Mazdas and things !
Keith McCormick was my next door neighbor. He does an antique car auction in Palm Springs in California. He moved here before we did, probably in 1980 or so. Any word on the Shotgun resto, Swerve? Het ROCKIT, I bet they still have some of the same **** they had decades ago for the illuminations. PS, first trime I saw the Stray Cats was in Blackpool, I think it was at The Norbreck Castle, can't remember, brain's gone to ****.
Hi willowbilly3, Do you think this could be the same car in a slightly different guise with the V12 swapped out for a V8. ? This first picture is probably the best to do a comparison with. I took these pics at the NSRA Supernats 2010. Cheers. Russ.
Hi Weasel, Thanks for putting me straight. Just there were a lot of similarities on the rear 3/4 pics of the two car's. Cheers. Russ.
