Art & Inspiration Cool Ford Score Today

My Uncle always had one of these coats in a dark blue version..I wanted one to put in the back seat of my Falcon for cruise nights, shows, etc..well searching eBay a couple weeks and found this..for 25 bucks!!! And it’s an **L I can wear. Yeah it’s got a couple little stains that are pretty small, I had a seamstress fix some missing threading on the stripes and fix the top corners of the pockets that had small rips...but I hardly ever see em in this color..

 

That's neat! The color and design of the jacket caught my eye...I got one a long time ago, not Ford, but instead printed up for my local drag strip to give me for getting all those points in the C bracket trophy race, back in 1981.

This might help you figure out the time yours was made?

No....repop....look at the tag.....nice snag though !

 

Huh...The tag say Ford right on it? It’s an old jacket, not new. I had to have it repaired due to age and use. I’m not sure what your taking about

 

Not sure its used, but in great condition. The seamstress that fixed it up did an amazing job. Wore it to dinner tonight

 

"Ford Officially Licensed Product" started around 1994, if the internet can believed? Doesn't matter cool jacket!

 

Wow...yeah cool none the less..sure seems older, but than again 1994 was a long damn time ago...

 

I had an original blue one years ago and my brother had a gold one which was unique.

I had a white one that that I wore to the 1969, I think, National Drags in Tulsa. Don’t know what happened to it??? Mine didn’t have the wool lining though.
