On vacation in Phoenix a few weeks ago, and we came across this junk yard. It reminded me of washington start 30 years ago.............. I'm gonna guess it is not any big secret tho......
The yard was in south Phoenix, near Baseline road. It was Sunday morning when we stopped. I went inside and an old gentleman came staggering out with 2 beers in his hand to see what I wanted. Nice enough guy, but he was just a friend of the owner. Apparently the owner does not like pics takes of the cars. I would have loved to spend a few hours rummaging around in there........
hahahaa boatwrights auto wrecking . yeah that place is great ! if ya go in the morning way high prices late afternoon really good prices , bring him some beer even better ones !
Damn, what a place, I checked out one just off 19th near where my car was shipped from, there was a real sweet 50 or so ford 2dr just sitting there, and they have all these pommy sports cars out side the gates...... man a bit more time and some $$ I coulda filled the trunk of the Olds and made some $ From memory I din't see as much 50's stuff inthere it was more late model with some older stuff, I recall they were not keen on me taking a walk around either.
