A friend sent me this link, thought it was too cool not to share. Don't know if it on here somewhere, I couldn't find it. Enjoy!http://www.flickr.com/photos/bykyak/sets/72157623160463384/show/with/4255048914/
Thanks for taking the time to post those amazing images! - A lot of memories for this old rev-head with cars I haven't seen since I was a kid.
I had to google to see where LaPlace Dragway was.....there is a comment on here from a fellow who says his brother, Mike Manson, shot the pics.... http://www.division4halloffame.com/?page_id=343
I was wondering where LaPlace Dragway was too, just too lazy to Google it. The had some pretty big name racers there for what appears too be a small time facility.
Thanks for all of the nice comments. My brother, Mike Manson, shot a coupla hundred rolls of film at LaPlace and I decided that they needed to be shown to the world. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the photos. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bykyak/ Mark Manson

EXCELLENT felt like I was walking through the pits again. Great times, great spectator sport every weekend at your local track. Miss those days, couldn't wait till Sunday came to head to the track.
