I found this picture in my great-grandmother's photo album... I'm told the car had been cut down and used to run a sawmill before my great-uncle bought it, put the wheels back on, and got it back on the road. The driver is my grandfather... The passengers are his two brothers and a stepbrother. This picture was taken sometime in the late 40s or early 50s in a rural community of East Tennessee. Note the upside-down drink bottles which are being used for gas and radiator caps. To me, this is the very definition of "Old School." Enjoy! -NM
You're pulling our leg. If that's east Tennessee, the picture could have been taken last February! ......................Just teasin. My wife and I both have family from that neck of the woods. Cool picture.
