I bought a 34 5 window coupe today and during the phone call I was asked if I like cool old photos. I said "sure" so I was sent these shots. The 98 car Pic came from Kenny Bennet at the Hot Rod Junkyard. He used to have coffee with the guys in the photo. It raced at regional dirt tracks around Colorado. The rest are of what seems to be called the Antique Junkyard at Marmarth (?) ND. As soon as I saw them I knew I had to post them on here. I asked permission and he said "sure!". These are post cards from the museum that stand on the land that used to have these cars which were like that until the mid 90s. The age of these photos say these were taken a while ago and probably earlier than the 90s but man, there sure is some cool old iron in there. Enjoy...and there's more coming apparently!
remember the rules, when stacking vintage Fords, the 3 windows always go on top of the Vickys. never the other way around
I looked at them for quite a long time. This guy said he had "heaps" of old shots so as they arrive I'll be posting them here.
Bill (32ford5) ... "Cool Old Pics" indeed! Coincidentally ... Marmarth, North Dakota is ~50 miles (~80 km) south of my father's hometown of Beach, North Dakota ... and very close to where he purchased his 5wd Coupe: 1954 (SW North Dakota): Purchased car (less 4-banger engine) from original owner for $40.
