Sideways, crossed-up and leaning on the right slick! That is a very cool picture.

That "devil woman" photo is epic! Marty Robbins is one of my favorites as well.

On our trip to BTTF in '02 we stopped by my family's church that was built by my ancestors in 1884.

Some pics from the mid-late 70's that I snapped of old stuff lying around in Manitoba.

It's hard to see, but I'm sitting in a 1919 T touring in an abandoned building. It was in very decent condition in this pic (1978). The owner always claimed he was going to fix it up, but it sat so long the shed fell in on it, completely destroying the car. :(

  15. If you look below the rear wheel, the album's Columbia -- not Epic:rolleyes:

-->the large size image makes the Y-block with 3 deuces more visible -- cool!

It does my heart good to see that somebody is taking such good care of that old church building!

I spent most of last summer helping to restore this old one-room school house that was built in 1883. It's located in Montezuma, Colorado at about 10,500 ft elevation and gets between 300 and 400-inches of snow every year. The foundation and support timbers were completely rotted away from poor drainage and the thing was about to colapse. But I think we saved it....and corrected the drainage. More to do this coming summer after the snow melts. It looks amazingly similar in design to your church!

Thanks! There's a fund in place to help with the maintenance of the building, and they're always open to donations. A few years ago they had to rebuild the entire foundation, it was alot of work. Now that we're living in the area again I'll probably start donating time to help out there. All of our family is buried there, including my dad. Some day I'll have my place in the cemetary as well.

That's a great looking school house! You guys did a nice job on the restoration. It is interesting how many of these buildings look the same, especially considering being so far away from each other!

Interesting use of the Belair side badging where the V8 emblem would normally go.

Six cylinder cars had nothing there. That badge had to be bent somewhat to conform to the body. The side of the car is a flat surface.

Thanks. Wish I had him around longer that I did because he was such a great man! I got into trouble in grade school at show and tell because I brought money...brand new crisp money....that he told me he made in the cellar and I shared....my teacher immediately called my mom because she was convinced we were the town Mafia....He ALWAYS drove a sharp car and the apple didn't fall too far from the tree with my father. :)
