yeah..and if it was really about "safety" they would be making their presence known with marked cars traveling along with traffic, not playing "gotcha games" with stealth cars.

    bogus and should be un-constitutional

now for another contribution for my rambling:eek:

So even though i have always taught in the science and tech fields- my major in college was history- and I love photogrtaphy because it captures a moment in history that will never happen again- dont know the car- T maybe- but this is right after WWI- this was at the National Infantry Museum in Columbus GA

That's a Dodge Brothers, probably either a '17 or '18. They were used by the Gen. Pershing to chase Poncho Villa.

Both cars are from late-sixties/early-seventies. Motes & Williams was NHRA Top Gas champ in 70/71; Paris car was built in 69 or 70. Pics are crap, but I figure there's still some cool factor 'cause it's not too often you will see twin-hemi rails side-by-side on the 1/4.

Thanks for posting those, Distant horizon, the double double Hemi's are extremely cool, I was not aware of either. I wish I could have been there for that rumble.

How do you post a photo full size instead of appearing as a thumbnail?

I did a bunch of searches and I can't find out.

    Thanks!
