The UFO Watchtower on Highway 17 in Hooper, CO. The woman that owns this is great. It's free, and there is a little gift shop. A bus-load of German tourists had their tour driver take them there fron Santa Fe! lol

My favorite (and unfortunately I do NOT have a photo) was a billboard I saw while driving thropugh Central Montana. It had a picture of a cartoon cow who looked rather nervous, and the caption read "Rocky Mountain Oyster festival....Come on down and HAVE A BALL!!!"

    I about pissed myself laughing.

Last spring I made my first trip up the coast to Big Sur, CA. I think this is the biggest roadside attraction I've ever seen. :D I liked it so much I'm going back up the coast to go camping again.

you gotta go to leakey texas. its south and west of austin. leakey is a crossroad intersection town, really small but alotta people go down there because the roads are so kicka$$. you have to do fm335, fm336, fm337. the creeks are clear and the beer is cold and people are friendly. texas keeps the road in really good shape too so it wont beat up your suspension. right in the middle of town at the 4 way stop is the frio canyon motorcycle stop. its not shop just some tables and shade trees and a place to get a cold drink and hang out by an old barn. theyre good folks there . see ya down the road

When going to and from Paso Robles, hwy 46 we used to go by the site where James Dean fatal car crash happened. Amazing how serene and unchanged by time this place still seems.

There's a little teapot gas station just out of Top*****h Washington, I don't have any pics of it, but here's one I found online:

Of course, here in Chehalis we have a giant duck:

If you're coming across Oregon on Hwy 84 you need to cross the river at Biggs Junction and check out the Stonehenge replica and the Maryhill Museum.

There are so many I can think of, but the one place I stopped that really, really impressed me was the Crazy Horse monument south of Rapid City, South Dakota:

The scale of this thing is so hard to comprehend, but if you've ever been to Mt. Rushmore, this is bigger, much, much bigger...

...those little dots on his arm are trucks! This is truly one of those places you must go to before you die! When we were there I was going through their museum and following this lady. She went into a room and I followed her into the library. Turns out she was the daughter of the fellow who started all this, a very nice lady who lives with history every day.

  29. The main street in the Museum has more buildings than the main street in town.Spent the night there 2 years ago. Then drove to Wall Drug for coffee ( 1 cent for coffee, good deal )
