Beautiful car. I don't think the color compliments the lines very well..... if it were Ivory Pearl.... OMG. Still, it is a very nice ride. Well done!

Yep, same car. Upholstery is done and we are bringin' it to Austin for the Round Up.

A friend of Jeb Scolman (the builder of the car) made the video the other day just for fun.

You're kididn' right? Maybe not, but I'll bet 99 out of a hundred would disagree with your comment about the colour complimenting the lines and like it the way it is.

    Beautiful job John.

No, dark colors don't hide cars... That car is extremely well done, I'd personally like to see the lines stand out. If 99 out of 100 people had a different opinion then good on them... who cares. If the last person changed his mind because the other 99 disagreed I'd whip his ***.

Awesome! It's funny how traditional usually always works. No 5" chop, 350/350 with Olds valve covers, Ididit tilt column, air and a 3' Lokar shifter.

I'd love to see it in person. I love the grille and the Lincoln theme in the engine and tail lights is great.

Very nice! I saw a video of a couple of guys heading up to the primer nationals with that song in the background. Cool tune, really makes you feel like a part of the ride.

Got a bunch of pics of this beauty in bare metal from a post on here last year (or maybe 2007?) for inspiration on my project. The metal work on this car is nothing short of perfection! Jeb Scolman is a ruler! Can't wait to see it finished at the Roundup!!!

I don't take any credit for the car or the video- just wanted to post something cool some friends did an incredible job on. Spreading the traditional hot rod gospel ;)

  18. What a great car, saw it at Mooneyes and the GNRS, and as usual John will probably drive it to Austin and put all the local trailer queens to shame, I love it.
John Mearns is the real deal.

If you took out the repeated shots and close up-back up shots you would have a probably a minute and a half of that incredibly fine automobile that would move you.

And how about a rundown on the components in that car too?

It's a fine piece but the video work needs work.

I agree with your comments on the video. It was done by a friend of a friend with no involvement by me. I would prefer more driving scenes, and would have kept the tempo slower and smoother, the way a custom moves.

    No complaints, just my opinioin.

Just Love It, great job on the video. After seeing it I changed my mind about trading my 3-W for a steel Duece highboy roadster. Who needs a roadster anyway everyone has one. Thanks for waking me up. :D
