Note: Already posted before... Anyhooo, found this while doing some random browsing on YouTube. Not hot rods but still cool to watch the craftsmanship and I think anyone interested in working with metal will get a kick out of this well made video.
Been covered. You should really take time to read the blogs Ryan and Jay post http://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=11272
Its okay, I put that up there since so many people log into the board and NEVER read the Journal entries. Which I believe is a shame because Ryan and Jay write some awesome stuff!
Heres one on a friend of mine from england. http://hypebeast.com/2012/02/modern-day-artisans-ricky-feather/
Cool, thing is, I spent some time just today reading the blog. My main bookmark brings me straight into this forum which is why I sometimes miss the blog posts which I thoroughly enjoy. It's just that when I saw it I immediately thought of you guys and how you'd enjoy it. Seems I was right which is not so bad. I'll put this one down to "Great minds think alike".
Cool! This adds some value back to the thread and it looks like your mate does good work too. I like that he works alone - I know how he feels about getting others to do work for you...it's just not the same and like he says..."He likes everything to be "spot on" - cool.
I didn't see the blog so this is new to me and thanks for the link showing some true craftsmanship in in action. I've got a Team Fat Chance frame that has that degree of skill and care put into the building of it.
