I took my company car in for service today. I've done business with them for years, good people. But what caught my attention was their new business cards. The illustration just blows me away. Anyway, may not be art to some, but it's certainly inspiration to me.

Why did you mark it out... that would just be free adverti*****t? If they didn't want people to see it they wouldn't give em out.... I imediately focused on the black lines.... Nice illustration though.... but I want to see the whole thing.(maybe that's the designer in me?)

I guess I've watched too many reality shows with the plates / faces blurred?

I agree CharleyW, that's a kool business card. It reminds me of '2o's/'3o's European racing posters.

  6. Hey,

For those that think it reminds you of a 30's style racing poster, that's because that it what it was copied from. Robert Falcucci is the original artist and one of the best known painters from the Art Deco era.

I think it's terrible. How are people supposed to get a hold of you with those black lines on the numbers? Seems dumb to me.

  10. Hey Charley,

No probs. Best place to grab some images is online shops thats spe******e in art prints. They usually have a dedicated Art Deco section.
