Coolest grills ever made.....

    Took an idea from the 30's Indy cars for the one I'm building for my '27 T roadster. I did a trial using 3/8 aluminum tube, but it didn't look right. 20201025_121104 (1).jpg

    Next, I tried rolling a stack of 1/4 x 1 1/4 aluminum flat bar to the same arc as the center grille support. It worked so; I used the same material to form the lip.

    Found the V-8 emblem; Looked like it belonged. A little more filing and I'll be good with it. :)

    Actually, radiator coolant tubes.
    Almost looks like some of Duvall's work. I wonder if maybe this inspired him.

    actually, half for radiator coolant, the other half were for oil. didn't cool very well, ended up putting a radiator first along the right side of the hood and then a smaller one in the nose. @guffey

    i saw it in person not too long ago
