  1. Here's one of them 'Hisso' engines. About 360 cubic inch, now thats a BIG 4 pot!
They were meant to be really slow to get wound up, but once they were up and running they were very quick. [IMG]

That Hisso car was featured in HRM a couple of issues back, mebbe about 1960.
I just picked up a 1920's aircraft catalog with Hisso engines and parts (Kaiser war surplus), engines and parts for the big USA V8 airplane engines, and surplus trainer biplanes for $1--2,000, depending on level of condition! The catalog also lists Spun wheel disks in a variety of sizes!

Wayne Atkinson, there is a name from out of the past, is he in Minnesota now?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Wayne is now in NE Iowa. He had some good banger flow tests in Secrets.

Speaking of Winfields, I will get this on my A this winter.

I will try to make a manifold out of old broken winfield intakes. I do not want to use the stromberg adapter that is on the carb now.

This is a SOHC ROOF Head on a B block. I sold it to Doc Pruden in California in 1976. Has anyone seen it recently?

Toyota 2TC/3TC Hemi engines from late '70's early '80's corolla models.

I had a Lotus Super Seven with an Cosworth-tweaked English Ford 1340cc engine. Twin Weber DCOEs, Isky cam, popup pistons. Not an especially cool looking engine, but it produced something over 100 hp and in a 1000 lb car, it flew!

You know I LOVE IT!!! Before I ever saw your's, Crazy, After much research, I knew this was the configuration of "A" engine I had to have. Then, while Max(H&H) was building it, I saw yours and knew I made the right move. VERY cool.
