    Mike,
Not sure what the problem is since the pic is visible on my system. I'll try another photo site and see if that makes any difference. a-zonie

Great!!! Now i can see your lakester. I'm not sure why it didn't show earlier, but it's there now. I like it. Did you start the body with a used drop tank or make the bodywork yourself? What is the wheelbase?
Thanks again for the extra work on posting the pic.

4-port riley can provide more info but if I remember correctly they started with an F105 drop tank.

  6. Here is one you might enjoy looking at. It's sitting in my current roadster project. I just hope it doesn't sound like a tractor.

Wheelbase is 130" It started life as a drop tank for an F-104 (?, or f-1- something) the tank is 30" in diameter. We shortened the tank to fit our needs. Got my red timing tag yesterday. Red tags are for record times, OK so I like to brag on occasion!

Congrats on the red timing tag 4-port! That's pretty neat and I'd brag about as well but I doubt I'll ever get that opportunity. So many other banger related things to do but I'll be watching for the record to be topped!!

"4-port Riley" must be Mr. Brierley. You HAMBers take notice that Jim is an AUTHORITY on vintage four cylinder Fords. If you have questions he's the guy to go to.
