A foot clutch hand shifted 45ci Harley,holding a Thompson with a 1911 as a side arm. All of them heroes. A hard one to beat.

I am torn between these two, the second is Jack Gillis, from Vancouver,Wa. in '49. The first is Jack Greiner from Salem, Or. in the early 50's. They are both friends of mine.
I'm pretty sure it was at the National Guard Armory airfield north of Ft. Worth. They had drag races there in the 50's and early 60's.
This may or may not be the coolest but it is in the running. Actually most of the shots in the Thread "As They Were" are pretty cool IMO.
