I'm not huge on relying on an electric fan as the primary item for cooling, it runs almost all the time. I'm running a name brand flex fan and a shroud on my car, it has a short water pump, lots of room. I added a pusher Spal 16" fan that is on a thermostat. It comes on at 195, off at 175. So far it works well when I'm at a cruise night looking for a parking spot.

I tried Summit for my electric fan, the fan alone was $165 plus another $50 for the installation kit. I found the whole thing in one box for $175 on eBay. Fan is a 16" pusher rated at 3000 CFM.
