Hot Rods Cooling

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by LEE CHRISTENSEN, Aug 13, 2019.

  1. I'm not huge on relying on an electric fan as the primary item for cooling, it runs almost all the time. I'm running a name brand flex fan and a shroud on my car, it has a short water pump, lots of room. I added a pusher Spal 16" fan that is on a thermostat. It comes on at 195, off at 175. So far it works well when I'm at a cruise night looking for a parking spot.

  2. I tried Summit for my electric fan, the fan alone was $165 plus another $50 for the installation kit. I found the whole thing in one box for $175 on eBay. Fan is a 16" pusher rated at 3000 CFM.
