Anyone had success using copper core spark plug wires with electronic ignition? Mallory electronic distributor instructions warn against the practice, but I've heard its okay provided wires are contained in conduit. I can't stand the look of new synthetic wires with their carbon core and want to go with cloth braided wiring which seems to be limited to copper core only. Any comments appreciated, thanks.

  2. My roadster had em when I got it. Had duraspark ignition. Now has HEI but the module is mounted under the dash and I have no radio. Not problems.

I have used copper core wires with a stock Chrysler E.I. with no problems but I would go with the manufacturers recommendations.
