   I had one under a 48 ford pickup for about 5 years the frontend was okay but I didn't really like the small drum brakes.... so I changed it out to go with a MII with bigger disc brakes...

   There are a few guys that did the Pinto rack on their corvairs on www.corvaircenter.com
   
   I actually have a pinto rack and was considerign putting it into my 65 Corvair.
