Technical Corvair steering box pitman arm. Anything else fit?

  1. Will any other GM pitman arm fit an original Corvair Steering Box? Thanks

    A friend of mine has a Corvair pitman arm if you need one. Picture 11037.jpg
     
  4. Don't have one. I see speedway and Flaming River have them, but a stock one is to short, it needs to be modified. The one on the car has been on it since the 70's, and was modified then, and it broke today. Luckily the car was in the driveway and not out on the highway.

    if had broke on road it would have been more than a depends moment.amazing how many modify them by cutting and welding.not saying your was sounds like it though when you say it broke.
     
  7. Pretty sure, from memory, a 37-42 Willys arm will work.
