I'm making a intake to put a 1959 Corvette Fuel Injection on a Dodge 270 Hemi and need to have to have a longer drive cable made that goes from the distributor to the FI. I've misplaced the cable, and am wondering if someone could mic the end to let me know the size?

I can't help with the size but I was just wondering how much longer? There is a lot of strain on that cable to drive the pump. So much so the distributor needs it's own oil pressure line on the gear driving the cable. I always carried a spare cable with me. Also a tip. Use "never seize" original aluminum type if you have it in the cable instead of grease to extend life. I am sure of this. It also works great if used in speedometer cables to extend life. Al

I have a FI distributor with no cable, but in checking a GM speedometer cable for fit these sizes would be correct- the drive tang checks at .103 and the retention cap has a 7/8-18 thread.
Also, the length of the tang on my speedo cable is 13/16” and I believe that would be OK.
