Baron, I did manage to raise the rear a bit & also lowered the front some. This is probably going to be ride height for racing. I do like the rear wheelwells on Scott's car & will probably emulate them at some point.
Love Bowling Green but doubt my car would pass NHRA inspection. I'll stick with the Gasser only races for now.
Forgot to mention for vetrod62 and Rat Sass, that they also can visit the National Corvette Museum that is right down the road from the race track.
Looking good ( I have liked the car from the first time I saw it , before the latest rendition). The rear wheelwells are an easy fix with a saw blade and a deeper off-set rear wheel.
Scott that is really beginning to look like a car! Whole lotta work goes into building one from scratch.
I remember that they said that it came from California and we're trying to dig up some history on it. The last that I knew it went to Ohio from Dallas and was owned by a Hamb member. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1956-corvette-bad-blood-drag-car-from-the-60s.276711/ http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/corvette-hot-rods-picture-thread.545759/page-8
Had saved these pics I found on the internet back in 2012. Pics were labeled as Babs Corvette if that gives any clue.
