It belongs to Don Moyer here on the hamb. It was originally from Bakersfield. We're there is a Evans electric, that was part of the one here in Fresno. The car was on the coast in Santa Maria, sold to Texas. Then don bought it.
I actually saw those pictures here on the Hamb when Krash purchased it in Texas...then a year later he put it in the for sale section here on the Hamb.....He wanted to trade only and we worked out a trade!

Loudbang good pictures. Not sure on the CID on the G/G midyear. It was a little past my time frequenting the strip on a regular basis. The only times I had to make it back in those days was when the modified eliminator Vettes (and other makes) were running. I know some of those modified eliminator cars were running the high revving 278 and 288 cids.

Loudbang the one picture above with the three cars (we have known and loved)-the center picture is Dr Destructo. This was a record holder out of NJ running in K/SA with a 283/245 hp (hydraulic cam version of the dual quad 283) with a powerglide. Ran in the early 70s in this trim.
