I thought that shot was Mulholland drive so I back Googled the photo, always thought that would be a blast to do at least once.
In case you didn't see it here's a neat article.
Scroll through it for a description of the car/photo.
    Also, some interesting comments.

^^^Photo posted by Loudbang...Every once in a while there's a car you'd like to know more
about and this is one. Where was this '64 from, when was the shot taken, was this a small
town and did this car stand out from anyone else's Corvette, are those '59 Chevy headlights?

In about 1965 my cousin had a '63 with large single headlights mounted in the grille. He added side pipes to the 340 hp. Sounded and looked mean as H. He ruined me for life taking me a ride in '61 when I was about 12

Just thinking in print, LB. Also, I hope you don't mind me fooling with the occasional pic.
These types of photos are interesting to me. I used to bug my old pals for copies of old photos
but no seemed to have kept any. It was always "You were the one taking pictures", which was true
but only of my own cars.

When is a Corvette historical and when is it a candidate for restoration?

LB, that's probably my favorite Corvette ever. OK, maybe the Grand Sports.

The gentleman is Bob Wingate. In those days he was the top Corvette Salesman in the country. Chevrolet modified and gave him the Goodwood Green '67 coupe with the white racing stripe, 6 taillights, Goodyear Bluestreaks and American Racing Equipment Torque Thrust Ds seen first in line with the Clippinger Chevrolet lettering n the doors.. Chevrolet also removed the front bumpers if I remember correctly and it had Goodyear decals on the sides of the front parking light fibregl*** housings. The car exists today and was restored as given to Bob some years ago .

That green ‘61 is my buddy Chuck’s car. Frame up built and painted by him in his backyard garage . She’s a real beauty!

There is a chance but I don't think so. When was your picture taken? There is a lot of similarities, is that a M***achusetts plate? My car went in that direction and is there now and has been for over 25 years. Mine did not have a license plate bracket and still does not. I did not have chrome head light frames and still does not. The hood looks close but I can't really make it out, I cut the hood spears out and had a 69 L-88 hood bulge with the 67 hood scoop on top of that. I sold it with wheels and the color looks right but I really can't tell. My old friend Ray Kobel had one a good 40 years ago that I sort of copied, but thats a long shot.

Pat I generally do not lurk on the Corvette Forum but I googled something and it came up and then I saw a thread on a yellow 62 Vette. The car I believe is owned by someone in Missouri. I seem to feel the hood was similar other than this one seems open in front. I had a pretty crude similar hood but cut it up to save the lower frame for another hood that had a skin I wanted to use (a 58 washboard hood). Still have another hood like it in bright orange and a hood with a Ford stinger/bubble or whatever they called them on mid 60s Fords. Just thought you may find it interesting. I remember yellow seemed to be more popular in the late 80s (I think??)

FWIW, that looks like a MO plate on the front.
