Features Corvette hot rods - picture thread

I am out in the garage today
Messing around. Here is one 327 haha. A friend gave me a 327 that he blew up. I salvaged some odd and end stuff and the rods. I traded the rest because one cylinder had about a 3 inch crack in it.
The complete engine is the one in my 66 corvette. It is about to be rebuilt. It is very clean inside. the ist pic is how it’s been since My dad got it in 1976. I took the C4b intake off and tried the Weiand On for looks. I have been thinking about running when the engine gets built.

There is no “O” on the rocker arms

 

Weren't the "O"s dropped around the 1980's?

 

You DEFINATELY gotta make that dual quad setup happen!

 

I'm glad I got to the botton of that, who the heck even brought that up!

 

not much room for air cleaners, but cal custom 40-40's fit nice with that setup

Great guy, he lives about 40 miles from me.

 

That picture brings back memories of how complicated it was to adapt acceptable tow bar tabs to a Corvette. I recall going through at least three variations before I finally ac***ulated enough cash to buy an open trailer.
