Have you seen any other pictures of Corvettes that ran at the 69 Indy Nationals?

The bottom car is Pogo II. Car survives as well-I believe in Indiana.

That may very well be true although I recall that she was running it in B/SP when we tore down beside her at Pomona in 1964. Of course, a 283 FI car that ran AA/SP in 1961 could have been down-classed by the '62 327 and again by the '63/'64 versions. Classes changed about every year during that era of annual horsepower enhancement.

Chuck I agree with much of what you say and you should know best since you were there. The 61 rulebook did not list AA/SP but the NHRA added it after printing of the book, I believe. The 290 hp ran in A/SP and it was more fair I have read to put the 315 hp in AA/SP or otherwise you would be giving up 25 hp head to head. AA/SP was only in 1961 I believe and the Nicholson Wade 61 315 hp ran in B/SP in 62 with the new 327/360 running in A/SP. If this is Judy Lilly's car and I have read it is, then it is an early version (1961). She had her hardtop body color instead of the white top she ran in 1964-1966. She did run the car in B/SP in 1964 and 1965. The last year she ran the car was 1966 when she ran in D/SP.
