Peter Bonito's A/MP Corvette it had a 426 wedge motor. I took that picture at Westhampton dragstrip around 64. Sadly all of the guys I went to the track with are all gone now but are still my heroes. Remember the good times!

Cool picture, thanks for the history. Best of Both worlds, Corvette styling and MoPar power.

I'm usually not a custom Corvette guy but I like that silver car. Those pictures don't look too old, is it still around?

Do you think that's the same car? It looks like the red one has rear bumpers, I don't see that well and does the grey one have holes foe the spot lights?

Thanks for the question Pat. I believe that there are two different cars here. The unrestored one has different style quad light angle and the grille is different also. I believe that the car is owned by Galpin Ford in California. Restyling with glass is easy to do, so I would ask @Moriarity or another custom Corvette fan for input.

I believe the grey one was for sale or at an auction not too long ago and the story was right here on this thread or it's own thread on the HAMB

I knew that if I deferred to you, the whole story would come out. With customs, you're a walking encyclopedia. Thank you!
