Not what I was hoping for the future of your old 61. Since the trunk was sold, it sounds like it is going to be a compkete part out.

 

Not much left of it and when you figure the doors are empty and chopped and the top is chopped etc. The front clip was so-so anyways so maybe the basic body from the firewall back is useable for something. When I had the car up for sale I had two people interested in just buying the title but I was not going to go that route. Maybe a hot rod or resto mod of some sort--maybe. The sad part is that there were very few A/G Corvettes and this one did run at the 73 Gatornationals so that was kind of cool IMO. The new owner bought the car and the future of the car is his decision. He had asked my friend if he had a dash so maybe they have some plans for the car.

Me too! All those taillights would look real cool with a sequential unit hooked up for the turn signals.

 

Looks like there's room for more. Cool hood, too!
