    In the mid-70 it became a dragcar,but the rumor is that it is going back to the Royal version.

  10. I’m looking for photos of mid-year Corvettes with molded in headlight buckets and headlights relocated to the front grill area. What were folks doing for the grill? Just trimming the original to clear the lights? Something custom? No grill at all?

    All of the above options were used, I suspect. Thank you!

    My cousin just hid the lights behind the grille of his '63.

    I rember an article in Rod &Custom. They bonded in the flip lights and used the chrome trim and buckets from a '65 Impala cut into the underside of the original flip housing and trimmed the grill to it. Looked pretty good.
