This car is local to me, i’ve heard of it for years but never seen it. The long time owner posted pics on facebook recently says he wants to get it going again. I hope to see it someday

He wasn't a star ship captain yet, lieutenants make enough for the car and the dog...women and mags come with rank.

Fellow club member had his vette out last night at a cruise, he's in his 80's now but has been racing them for 60 yrs.
Mechanical injection on big cubes and he drives it on the street !

 

i think we need a feature on him and his!

Ron Rudnick, the flip top blew over and went over the trees destroying that one.
He's still very sharp minded, he was just telling me stories of how they had to drive to Indiana for race fuel during the gas crunch, the gas stations were only alloted to give you $2 bucks of gas per fill up.
He had a trailer with 55 gallon drums for the race fuel and when he would stop for gas at the stations he would get his 2 bucks, circle around the lot and get 2 more, circle around again LOL
