I had several opportunities to purchase this 31 Ford. It was originally a California car, bought new, then p***ed thru several family members but had most of it's life being drag raced. By the time (after 1year) the wife agreed upon this car it was sold. It had then gone to a guy in British Columbia where it was then sold again. The original price the person wanted in Calif. was $6500. It had a shortened wheelbase of 9" (hardly noticable that the rear wheels were moved forward), set up for g***er style, a 1957 Olds motor and transmission and rear end. It had Offenhauser and Hilborn speed equiptment on it. Really was a steal. Anyways, I am hoping someone could photoshop this picture as I would have completed the car. Wide white walled pie crust cheaters on the front and some runners on the front. I was going to put black steel rims on the front and a Chrome reverse wheel on the rear. Possibly a higher lift in the front. Also could the background be cleaned up any? On the windows I would have ran a number like s/ga or something. Maybe even a red tint to the windows. Any other ideas or creations would be helpful. I am looking for a barn fresh unmolested 27-32 5 window to build up in that fashion since this one is out of touch.
i wish you luck looking for a coupe... they aint all that easy to get ahold of nowadays, and that car would have been a steal... just a suggestion, you should do an intro so that we know who ya are, what you are into and so on and so fourth... altho you DID take the time to fill out your profile, which is something many dont bother to do these days
