Technical Could Someone Tell Me What I Have Here ?????

    FORD SHIFTER TOWER THAT '39 WRITTEN ON IT
    IT IS A "SINGLE" DETENT
    IT DOES HAVE THE BIG 3" FORK
    I'M CONFUSED
    CAN ANYONE WITH MORE KNOWLEDGE THEN I HAVE
    TELL ME WHAT I HAVE...

    It is a 37- 38 housing with a 39 fork. I had the same setup once. Cost me a set of gears. I got in first and second at once. I bought a 39 housing that that for some reason had the small fork. I switched the forks an sold the early assembly
